The Impact of COVID-19 upon Intracardiac Hemodynamics and Heart Rate Variability in Stable Coronary Artery Disease Patients

چکیده
The aim. To study the impact of COVID-19 upon intracardiac hemodynamics and heart rate variability (HRV) in stable coronary artery disease (SCAD) patients.
Materials methods. In this cross-sectional we analyzed clinical instrumental data obtained from a sample 80 patients. patients were divided into three groups: group 1 included with SCAD without (n=30), 2 (n=25), 3 (n=25). control 30 relatively healthy volunteers.
Results. changes HRV characterized by impaired left ventricular systolic diastolic function, dilation both ventricles elevated pulmonary pressure. Left end-diastolic volume was higher (205±21 ml) than that (176±33 ml; р<0.001) (130±21 р<0.001). Patients groups 1–3, compared to controls, presented decrease overall (by standard deviation [SD] all NN intervals [SDNN]; SD averages 5 min segments entire recording; mean SDs for recording) parasympathetic activity (root-mean-square difference successive intervals; proportion derived dividing number interval differences greater 50 ms [NN50] total [pNN50], high frequency spectral component), along QT prolongation increase its variability. Group demonstrated most advanced SDNN pNN50) characteristics.
Conclusions. concomitant COVID-19, impairment, sings autonomic dysfunction, characteristics should be additionally considered management such

OBJECTIVE The present study compared heart rate variability (HRV) parameters in patients with coronary artery ectasia (CAE) and coronary artery disease (CAD). METHODS The study population consisted of 60 consecutive patients with CAE (14 women; mean age 51.63±7.44 years), 60 consecutive patients with CA (15 women; mean age 53.67±9.31 years), and 59 healthy individuals (13 women; mean age 52.8...

Objective: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) and diabetes mellitus can influence coronary artery disease (CAD) independently. The aim of this study was to evaluate the association of glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and CAD in type 2 diabetic patients (T2DM). Materials and Methods: This cross sectional study evaluated 3624 T2DM patients with clinical presentation of CAD whose documents were registe...
متن کاملDepression and heart rate variability in patients with stable coronary heart disease: findings from the Heart and Soul Study.
CONTEXT Depression is associated with low heart rate variability (HRV) in patients following myocardial infarction, suggesting that alterations in the autonomic nervous system may contribute to the adverse cardiac outcomes associated with depression. Whether depression is associated with low HRV in patients with stable coronary heart disease (CHD) is not known. OBJECTIVE To examine the associ...
متن کاملReduction in Heart Rate Variability with Traffic and Air Pollution in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease
INTRODUCTION Ambient particulate pollution and traffic have been linked to myocardial infarction and cardiac death risk. Possible mechanisms include autonomic cardiac dysfunction. METHODS In a repeated-measures study of 46 patients 43-75 years of age, we investigated associations of central-site ambient particulate pollution, including black carbon (BC) (a marker for regional and local traffi...
